Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree is a benefit for House of the Rock and Lutheran Community Food Ministry, which feeds the homeless 5 days a week in Midtown. Make sure and bring canned food donations to help our friends in need. For a $10 suggested donation (kids are free), guests get two tribute bands: Nine Inch Neils (Neil Diamond) and the Jagged Stones (Rolling Stones). Mellow Mushroom Decatur is providing pizza, and everyone gets a two glasses of beer or wine, free sodas and access to a dessert bar. There's also a silent auction including some cool items like a signed movie poster from the "Twilight" series and an original "Powerpuff Girls" animation cell from Cartoon Network. And parking is free, too.
